California -- John Dave Heltne, 74, a resident of Fairfield and Vacaville for seventeen years combined, died on December 10, at Sereno Oaks, in Vacaville after a long bout with muscular dystrophy. He was born on March 23, 1937 in Grafton, N.D. Burial in the Family Plot will be in Murray Cemetery, Rockdale, Texas. Rockdale Reporter, December 13, 2011
